I only saw Roy Scheider in one movie; the Bob Fosse movie "All That Jazz". Roy Scheider was brilliant!

For the last month I've been searching the web for software that will allow me to save streaming Flash movies to my iMac computer hard drive.
Ofcourse there are commercial programmes that will do what I want. But they cost from $20 to $65. And their are free programmes that use screen capture to record the Flash movie, but they don't record the sound.
The answer was right in front of me: I'd been using TubeTV to download YouTube videos... YouTube videos are Flash movies... Perhaps TubeTV could could save Flash movies from any website. Yes it can!

I saw one today on Market street. These bikes look odd in photos without a rider. But with a rider in place, the stark triangular frame looks good.

"Years ago, The Sharper Image used to sell these. The ideal customer was one who had a boat and needed to get around town at different marinas, or was headed on vacation for a few weeks. While you would have thought the failure point would have been the frame, it held some pretty heavy folks. The only downside? My dad was the comb-over king. He used Brylcreem (“a little dab’ll do ya”) to keep his hair in place. It made his hair look wet. During the 70's the "wet look" was unpopular, so he used the bare minimum amount of Brylcreem, meaning that his comb-over got blown-over on windy days.
I didn't think Brylcreem existed anymore. I thought Brylcreem was replaced by mens hairspray and then hair gel years ago. I can still remember the Gillette hairspray TV advertisement: "The wet head is dead. Long live the dry look from Gillette".

Today is Super Bowl Sunday in the States. I like to call it Hyper Bowl Sunday because American professional football is so hyped!
The Players will have chosen a team that can pay them the most money, and the teams play each other to make a profit for the owners. Yeah... I really care...
Added to the overt capitalism, the football players wear ridiculous uniforms: Helmets, shoulder pads, and long pants! They look silly to me.
The game stops after every "play". So much of the time you're watching the players getting into position. Then off they go again for a few seconds of play. No wonder some people watch the game to see the advertisements.
