Very Cold

The weather has been colder than normal. It was 36 when I left work in Fremont at 2am.

This time of year the temperature can get well below freezing in inland parts of Northern California. But here on the coast, the ocean and bay water have a moderating effect on the temperature.

So today I was surprised to come across ice while cycling in Marin.
