The Cost of Commuting

The high price of petrol and bridge tolls is costing me $400 a month. So I applied for a job close to home with the City of San Francisco.

I have an interview on Monday for a job at SFO. The job pays less than I make now, but once I figure in the 3 hour commute time and the money I'll save, then the difference isn't too bad. And a job with the City has union representation and good benefits.

Whether or not to take the job will be a very hard decision.
